Postgraduate Scholarships, Fellowships and Sabbaticals for Multidisciplinary Research and Development with Campus Accommodation
The Foundation, in association with the AL & M Dawkins Foundation, the Marshall Centre for Agricultural Research, Wrays, Xytovet, Urban Quarter, Specialised Distillery, Bioscience, Gyulais, Wedgetail Aeronautics and Melaleuka Farm offers:
Live-in post graduate scholarships, fellowships and sabbaticals.
Stipends based on NHMRC scales and individual requirements for accommodation and/or external commitments.
Opportunities for equity in R&D companies with agricultural, bioinformatic and biomedical products.
The research campus is a part of the urban development of North Dandalup situated 45 minutes south of Perth, 20 minutes east of Mandurah, 15 minutes from the Pinjarra regional centre, 10 minutes from FIPWA Murray Field airport and Melaleuka Farm, 5 minutes from an excellent primary school and 10 minutes from Fairbridge Village.
Accommodation for singles and families.
Each application must demonstrate how the project will enhance the campus, eg personnel, technology and collaborations. Projects that are relevant to the local area, including community development will be favourably received. The funds can be administered by any of the associated parties or by others with research and development status and eligibility to receive matching grants. Possible topics include:
Genetics of gastric/rumen microflora including H-pylori.
Genetics and targets of autoantibodies.
Identification and potential role of stem cells in livestock.
Use of data to develop better applications of genomics.
Plant pathology.
Innovation in urban planning, design, servicing and housing.
Your project proposal should include:
Name and citizenship.
Proposed Research and Development.
Intended outcomes including higher degrees.
Benefits to CYOEVF and the Peel region.
Matching funding if available.
